BE GREEN

The Milwaukee Brewing Company is committed to new and innovative ways to reuse and conserve energy.  From the first construction plans; the Brewery was purposely built to make production as efficient and green as possible.  From reusing water to constructing the brewery out of used Pabst materials the Milwaukee Brewing Company is at the forefront of companies working towards Green Energy.
         1. Recycled equipment - means very small footprint for construction.
         2. Reusing Heat - Cooling system puts heat into hot water instead of outside.
         3. Reusing Vegetable Oil - Boiler runs on vegetable oil from our Ale House drastically reducing petroleum usage and polluting exhaust gases.
         4. Recover water -  used to chill beer then reused for brewery cleaning.
         5. Reusing byproducts - Floor cleaners and degreasers made from vegetable oil fuel byproducts.
         6. Buy back bottle packaging - incentive to recycle from customers at brewery.
         7. Redistributing Spent Grain - composted for food growing nutrient.
         8. Aluminum Cans -being introduced summer 2009 for less weight, greater recyclability more efficient cooling for product.
